Last Bible II | Atlus | 1993 | Game description from [[link:http://www.romhacking.net Romhacking.net]]: If you’ve ever played an 8-bit or 16-bit RPG, you already know exactly what this game plays like. I know the term "Dragon Quest Clone" is cliché, but this game fits the term to a button. Except for in battles, everything is represented by 16×16 pixel sprites and tiles, and you interact with your environment and inventory via menus. Of course, being a game that is part of the whole Megami Tensei canon, it kicks a lot more ass than most Dragon Quest clones, and has mythological/theological/occult bent to everything in the game. It looks pretty neat. Unofficial English translation available: [[link:http://www.romhacking.net/]] [cjlee001] | labelimageminimize |
Another Bible | Atlus | 1995 | Game description from Aeon Genesis: Another Bible is a strategy/RPG gaiden of the Megami Tensei series by Atlus. It's also more fantasy oriented than your typical Megaten, but that's okay! It's also based off of the Last Bible mythos, sorta, and Last Bible was released stateside as Revelations: The Demon Slayer or something. It's a pretty fun game all-around, and it's easy to play. Translation's done, have fun! Unofficial English translation available: agtp.romhack.net/ [cjlee001] | labelimagesubject |
